Dr. Frimpong is an accomplished scholar and lifelong learner. She holds a Doctorate in Business Administration (DBA) from IPAG Business School, Paris, an Executive MBA in Project Management from the University of Ghana, and a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting and Finance from the Ghana Institute of Management and Public Administration (GIMPA).

In addition, she has completed training programs including the BP Third-Party Trader Course with BP Oil International (UK), Project Management certification from GIMPA, and Forensic Audit certification from the British Council. These academic and professional achievements underpin her credibility as both a practitioner and thought leader.

Professional Background

Dr. Frimpong began her career in 2007 at Frimps Oil Company Limited, where she was appointed Internal Auditor. Her dedication and results quickly propelled her into senior management, and by 2010 she was entrusted with the dual responsibility of General Manager and Internal Auditor. In 2016, she was appointed Managing Director of Eagle Petroleum Company Limited, a position she continues to hold with distinction.

Her leadership journey also includes serving as Managing Director of Oiltrade Company Limited during its formative years. Before transitioning fully into the energy sector, she gained valuable banking experience with Barclays Bank Ghana (now Absa) and contributed to youth development initiatives through the Juaben National Youth Council.

She currently lends her expertise as a Board Member of:

  • Frimps Oil Company Limited
  • Eagle Petroleum Company Limited
  • Loyalty Insurance Company Limited

Through these roles, she continues to influence corporate governance, strategic growth, and industry development.

Beyond her executive responsibilities, she is a passionate advocate for women’s empowerment in leadership, particularly in the energy and finance sectors. Her voice and example inspire the next generation of leaders in Africa and internationally.

She is married to Rev. Dr. Kwaku Frimpong, and together they are blessed with wonderful children.
